CIDE provides assistive technology services for all ages. CIDE’s research infrastructure supports innovations in healthy living through technology, inclusive environments, independence, empowerment and community participation.
Surviving in Place (SIP) provides essential resources to help people with disabilities prepare for emergencies. This program was developed to ensure that individuals who rely on life-sustaining medical equipment in Colorado have the knowledge and resources they need to stay safe in emergencies.
- Hired on to pre-existing team to manage and execute this project along with a videographer
- Worked with subject matter experts to identify the most important and relevant features of EcoFlow batteries
- Designed and executed a 40-page instruction manual with step-by-step instructions on how to use battery backup power systems, how to plan for an emergency, and how optimize power usage
- Created shot lists and wrote scripts for several videos; oversaw video capture and video editing processes

CDPHE is the state agency that regulates public health and environmental quality in Colorado. I was brought on to a team focused on sexual health.
- Created Instagram Reels on topics related to sexual health aimed at ages 12-26
- Collaborated with CDPHE staff to identify most important topics for youth sexual health and develop age-appropriate materials
- Designed fourteen Instagram Reels to be released weekly over several months using a variety of data-driven social media engagement strategies to improve engagement
- Developed polling system in Jotform for focus groups to provide feedback to help improve the CDPHE’s outreach

The Learning Agency is a program that places students in the Learning Design and Technology program at UCD with clients to collaborate with fellow learning designers, industry professionals, and potential employers. I worked on two projects aimed at faculty members at UCD.
- Designed and executed Advanced Zoom Teaching Strategies, an online training module for faculty at UCD using Articulate 360
- Module addressed potential gaps in faculty’s technical knowledge of Zoom and various digital teaching tools like Hypothes.is, Padlet, and Flip
- Provided a variety of techniques for increasing student engagement and accessibility when teaching on Zoom
- Designed and incorporated multimedia learning materials throughout the training module, including interactive infographics and video content

- Collaborated with lead teachers, SLPs, OTs, and other specialists to create individualized student programming in academic, social, vocational, community, and life skills

- Founding member of Seesaw Theatre’s executive board at Northwestern University in 2013
- Served as Design Chair from May 2014-April 2015; guided Seesaw’s productions and design philosophy to ensure that performances were sensory-friendly, engaging, and safe for all audience members
